I've got one in my name... I did have a '66 once many years ago. My first old car. It was a real piece of shit, and I didn't know what the hell I was doing with it either, hahaha! I'd like to own a 61-63 rocket bird someday.

Wow, love that color with the tan interior! I vote some chrome Kelsey Hayes style wires! They would look really classy with that color...

I've got a mild custom '61 that I've gotta get around to someday.
There's a Tbird owners group here on the HAMB with lots of photos too.

  10. I was hoping for the thunderbird XL-5 kids pupits, and the Ladys panalapys pink rolls, I am showing my age any one remember the cartoon/pupits?

As a teenager (pre-16) I used to get around a lot by hitchhiking. One day a guy in a 61-63 t-bird picked me up.

I still get that same amazement at the interior of those birds as that first day I noticed them.

Wow. It's like Deja Vu all over again. That is EXACTLY the color my 'Bird was (minus the flames) before I started over!

An artist here in MI, Steve Brown, doing some artwork for me for inspiration, here's his rough work. The two tone will be laid out a little different, and I'm painting the bumpers body color :)eek: I know, I know, but I like that on this car), but it's just the preliminary art.

Thanks, I like that too. I'm anxious to see the finished art, now that the prelim is done, and REALLY anxious to get busy and make it a reality! Have to finish up the w/s frame chop, and then I can get busy on cutting the top.
