threads "marked" as viewed question

on the old hamb, if i only visited one forum, say the classifieds, then leave and come back later, only the forum i visited marked the threads as read, on the new hamb, if i log in to read pm's or peek at the classifieds, it will mark all threads on the main board as read, not really mark, unbolded i guess. can this be made the old way Ryan? so each forum is only reset after you actually visit it.
