Hot Rods Thoughts about the value of this combination

I’m getting ready to start a small engine build and would like to know if this idea is worth following through with.
SBC 283 stock bore and stroke, flat tops with single pair of eyebrows and thin head gaskets.
Question is about head choice. I have a nice set of power pac 520’s and also a set of 305 601’s. I know the 601’s have bigger 1.84 intakes and smaller 53cc chambers but I’m not sure about how they flow comparatively.
I am even considering switching out the 1.50 exhausts for 1.60’s if the improvement would be worth the cost.
So tell me what I’m missing.
