I have worked for Evercoat for 15 years and I can guarantee you we do not condone using fiberglass resin in body fillers and using it would void any type of product warranty.
Evercoat/ Featherfill is not Bondo. I have used Evercoat/ Featherfill and from my experience, will not use it again. Warranty does you no good when you have had the problem. Who wants to do the job over ?
I am not going to argue with someone who thinks Evercoat is a single product. Do some research and get back to me.
I thought I made it clear I wasn't talking about a single product, hence the / . I am not going to argue anymore either. I thought also from what I said of my thirty years in this and who I have worked with that it would be understood how extensively I have researched all of this including Evercoat. Shrinkage? I was in the pool! I certainly will report back if anything bad happens. It's a pickup that I use so not all that concerned. Maybe Moriarity can check his stuff, it's a little nicer . There were a couple of other HAMB threads also recommending poly resin.
