Event Coverage Things to do in Salinas,Ca. next weekend

A group of us are going to be staying in Salinas for The Pebble Beach Concourse weekend (Thurs - Sun, Aug. 12-15) and was wondering if there were any cool things to do or see in Salinas (good places to eat)? We will be pretty busy all 4 days with the Historic Races and 3 Cars at Pebble, but have no plans for the evenings. Would like to hear some suggestions, Thaks, Alan

 

try Baja Cantina in Carmel Valley on Thursday....local car show and such....
and Garter belts & Gasoline at the Alternative cafe at 1230 Fremont Blvd Seaside on friday night....

 

Damn.. I didn't see this sooner. .I would've suggested some good places to eat.
