Going to be down in socal(long beach) for a few days this weekend.wondering if there is any hotrod happenings to catch while I'm down there? thanks

last time I was in Long Beach was in 63 when getting out of the Navy
bet it has changed a lot, I know the Naval base is no longer there,
the old pikes amusement part is gone, guess the bars might still be there..lol

but the best thing I remember is I had a 49 merc that was really sharp...
seems like I bought the car for about $250
