Well I can finally drive it after 3 years of working on it.
I got to drive it to Waterdown and back and I grinned from ear to ear all the way.:D

Here's a few pics of the 3 year journey!

Thanks to those who assisted in any way!

Opinions and comments welcome (but they probably won't change anything)

Man, what a beautiful job!!! Doesn't look like you started with much. Looks like it sat in the woods for a long time. Congratulations on your first ride in it.

  7. I like seeing it in one setting like that, she's beautiful.

Great job on bringing one back from the brink.

What's up with the black grill and bumpers?

Well, Here in the Great White North rechroming original parts would have cost me more than aftermarket replacements ... I was quoted 3500.00 just to replate the grille, and a minimum of 450.00 per bumper, and 13-1500 for the windshield frame. I want to drive the car not sit and guard it,So I painted them.

  13. I'm grinning for you. Congratulations!

Holy cow! Unbelievable, you've got some talent and determination! Most guys, including me, would have looked at the body you started out with and figured it was beyond saving.
Great job!!! You are a true craftsman!
