So fun seeing you girls again... Your pictures are great. I swear you two have seen more killer shops and car collections in California than I have, and I live here! You even got a shot of the Rulon McGregor 39 Merc (TRJ #25?) in the basement of the Peterson that inspired my car.

Thanks for supporting Hop Up and coming by the booth... See you two at Bonne, if not sooner!

    All the best,

    jay

    Yep!
Great story, best adventure. I had a good time at the GNRS and also got to meet up with you and a couple of HAMB-ers at the 'anti-donut'. I feel priviliged to be part of the group! Good to talk to you at the airport before your return flight. Looking at your pics I relive the memories...
Hope to see you again sometime

Thanks again girls for providing a open window to places and things many of us hope to see but unfortunatly never get around to..................

As I am currently in the (no event to go to winter blues) your adventures will substain me through this desperate period!

On a more serious note please don't underestimate the effect that your postings can and does have on our future torchbearers of this passion we share. In particular the young girls that are realizing that it can be COOL to be involved in something that their "OLD MAN" is into.

For that I am deeply grateful to you.

Once again, you FAH-REAKIN KILL!!!. Great pictures is an understatement. Should we be surprised at Megan's .666 reaction time? (play the "Damian" music from The Omen here.)

Thanks for the photo tour! Next best thing to being there. My Florida buddies and I keep talking like we're gonna do the California circuit someday but we never get off our ass and commit to it. This thread just makes me want to go more. Do you folks go to Bonneville? That's another item on my "to do" list. I better get started I'm not getting any younger.

Truely thanks for letting us enjoy some highlights from your trip!

It was a pleasure meeting you too and what a surprise when you sat down with me at the airport. It certainly was a treat to be able to spend some time chatting together without feeling rush. I'm looking forward to our paths crossing again.

If one of my aventure stories has a postive effect on just one young person then all the time and effort involved in posting is well worth it for sure. I know we've talked about it before but I'm really looking forward to meeting your daughter this summer and hanging out with her a bit, taking her for a ride in Big Olds and explaining how hard work after finishing school can get her whatever in life she wants.

Which T-bucket is yours and I'll lable it as such in the main story.

Yep, sure do. In fact if you search Salt Cured HAMB tour you will come up with the 15 days worth of posting I did on the trip. We're going again this year so perhaps we'll see you there.

Megan and I would like nothing more then to be able to spend more time hanging out with you. We completely understand you having to man your both at the show so lets plan on getting together a few days prior next time. We'll see ya at B'ville and make plans:D

The black maton v-16 . i started out with aold seventies tbucket that came from down New Haven way,and another frame and body i got from my friend Mike. I glassed the two bodies together, and strecthed the new frame weilded by Armand Couture. making a T-Tub had it almost finished when i got back into Bikes. put it in the Bargain News , Al Maton bought it to display his motor. he and his put it back to a regular bucket and finished .

Great Story, Great Girls, loads of fun (though you could have left the pics of me out ;)

Here is a shot of the purse with the car, Jenny did a amazing job on it

Just a idea, West Coast Nats is a great show here in Pleasanton in August, hit Bonniville and then come here for Hot Rod Week (give me a reason to take off work)

About I will take you up on Detroit Show, there is chatting about taking the Ala Kart & the Merc there next year.

    Happy Travels
