I don't know about the "uhaul trailers are destroyed thing" up here in the PNW, which is the birth place of uhaul, older uhaul trailers used to be pretty common. I wouldn't say they are "everywhere" but I would say I see a couple a year still, and they were definitely more common in my childhood. I'm not even looking for them! Maybe focus your searches up here. Might get lucky.
Hey Ryan, Just wondering why you don't care for Coke trailers. I know some guys go overboard with putting bar stools and umbrella's on them. Mine is just an early fifties box with nice fenders, nerf bar bumper and upper/lower sections for luggage, lawn chairs, and a few tools. Its' served me well since '85 and I won't post a pic as to your request. Just asking and by the way, a great thread and the U-Haul trailers kick ass. DoUg
