Boy you seldom see them stock and restored. Very nice.

 

That car is not restored exactly. It is a 50000 mile original. Paint is original. Interior and drivetrain is all original. I believe some of the chrome was replated but thats about it. It used to belong to a friend of mine in Minnesota but now resides in the Price Automobilia Museum in the Willys collection of Rick Lorenzen in CA

 

Nice to see a new thread get started! I’m not on here often enough, life got in the way but I did just pick up another steel Coupe if that interests any of you ? This winters project I guess ? No paint ! Not sure if I’ll do the Gasser thing or not ? I’m all over the place on build ideas right now .

 

I thought they were born with a 392 Hemi and a straight front axle....

 

Ok all you Willys experts what is up with the very front area above the bumper? Did they look like that or is it just the photo?

 

Looks like a '40 er '39....

 

This one looks like a 39 or 40 judging by the drip rail and 5 bolt wheels . Obviously has a 40 center section but looks like 41/42 hood . Kinda looks like a late 60’s JDM fender mount side mirror to ? And are those VW headlights and turn signals ?
