The ultimate hot rod building link thread......You'll need these to build a car.

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Hitchhiker, Sep 22, 2010.

  1. This is a thread to post links to parts and material suppliers. I know that I would not have found a lot of cool things without other people showing me the link. I think this could be a big help for a beginner such as myself. Hopefully we'll dig up some cool sites in the process. I think it would also be nice to give a small description with the link. If you got a cool site that will help with the supplies and parts needed to build a car, Post them here. It doesn't necessarily have to be a Hot Rod parts site or anything Like jegs or speedway. Just what ever you think would be helpful.

    machine tools and materials

    Vintage Ford parts

    Awesome tools!

Alliance vendor Door hinges for model A's....Just found this today on the Alliance list, been looking for used for 6 months

Seriously, If you're new and don't know. go join now. I haven't bought anything yet, But I just added up the discount on everything I need to buy through Alliance vendors.....It MORE than pays for it's self. Go do it now.

  6. I was thinking about listing all those in my original post....But figured someone would get to it.

    Moral of the story.....

if you aren't an alliance member, you need to join. It's worth every penny.

I recently used Hirsch Auto. You can get notrocellulose paint through them, as well. Good stuff, old fashioned type of vibe to them.

They got a bunch of good stuff, all cloth wire for both primary and plugs, just a bunch of good stuff.
  18. Hilarious.

  19. Great website, everything is made per your order. I use this website all day long doing machine design. Best thing is that they also provide dimensionally correct CADD models for those CADD friendly people.

Request a desktop catalog or catalogs. In they total they are like 5 of the McMasterCarr catalogs.
