Damn .. This week is awesome. wish I had something new to offer. Nice work everyone!!
Here is a new photo from GNRS 2010
I wanna play...I have nothing HAMB friendly that's really new, but here's a repurposed piece.
Wish I had some new artwork to contribute this week but other work has cut into my artistic time. Lots of great artwork again this week as expected. Here is something old from me. Hope that's OK.
Jen your striping always blows me away.
Johnny J your work has come so far, very cool image.
Corvette Bob- love the drive in with the roadster.
1 shot that one on the Moon disc looks great. I started one something like that on a disc but still have not finished it. Gotta get back to it.
ToddJ that gumball machine looks great.
Always enjoy the old vintage artwork.
Everyone else is doing a great job also. It's hard to just pick out a few.
WOW! Great show this week everybody!!!
Blimey - it's a jolly high standard this week - so much amazing stuff and I didn't have any proper art this week so I did this quick doodle on the iPad...
I wanted to post this time-lapse movie of it being drawn but I'm not sure that's possible so here's the link...
Here is my attempt at a couple Artsy style photos of my coupe in a puddle across the street from where I work.
You might want to dress those top chop welds or the sea air is going to reek havock on them. Love the pic!
Put some finishing touches on it...
Great show this week!
Norwell, JohnnyJ, Spoggie, Dart165, GaryC, BOMONSTER, gyronaut (great Tremulis stuff), Fortypickup, Jigger, widewhitewalls, cixpack, slim pickens, metalhotordgirl, Dustyoldbodyman, kenmo, wreckingball, dan greenberg, toyghoul, Tommy's Cycle, toad32, Bob, 1320Paul, 1-Shot Slinger, whateverweber, LOWCAB, smarjoram........KILLER WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is really worth watching, thanks for the link.
And Jen on top of everything you've shown us so far you also do "flowers". Truly amazing are you.
I use Photoshop Elements...
1) duplicate the image so now you have two layers (same image)
2) put a gaussian blur on the bottom (around 5)
3) With an eraser on the top layer and erase away the background you want out of focus (you can also use a layer mask)
Pretty nifty. As I have NO photoshop experience, it's all smoke and mirrors to me. Thanx, Gary
You slay me..."not much to offer".... You have more creativity in your little finger than most of the PC Slingers on the planet. Outstanding "artistry" as usual....You never get old, the skill you dispense is ridiculous, and you have no competition. Unique is nearly an insult from my perspective. You Sir, are an artist in the truest sense of the word....Thanks for sharing it with us.......Centurion9
smarjoram- The timelapse video was very cool to watch.
Todd, thank you ........
Bernie, always cool work from you, new or old.
Evan with your primer I still couldn't do it - Very cool
Hood for VW dealership before clear coat.
Jen, theraif, widewhitewalls, Dustyoldbodyman, Danny G., 1320Paul, 1- shot slinger,
TODD-ster, WhateverWeber, Bernie, smarjoram, Bernie and Sonnt D.!!! Great stuff, all!!!
Wreckingball, beautiful Merc!
Bob, Ken, Todd and all you crazy cats, thanks for the kind words!
(Appologies to those who are sick of these...)
Ken, that is how I did these, using the layers and all that... I want to update the guy with the Chevy some day so it's a bit less saccharine.
Great show all, keep 'em coming!!!
(P.S. websight is getting close, hope to get a store set up soon so I can take orders and get the print wheels rollin 'em out.)
Very nice as usual
Any chance of a zoom on the engine in the WoodenBucket - It looks like one that I may build for my 48 Panel. - Thanks
thanks for the kind words fellas.. I keep it it!...johnny
My entry for the week.
Awesome stuff everywhere, wow, I love these shows, so inspiring ... Thanks so much to everyone.
Marjoram, spoggie, Gyronaut, you guys are killing me ! Incredible styles .
Thank you. The engine is an improve but the basic set up is the same as the one below, from another drawing. It is, fictitiously, a 239 8Ba Flathead with an So.Co.T. Supercharger on a riser manifold and being forced air through a set
of 4 baby Stroms hooked to a twin pack of custom fabricated dual intake tubes.
Oops, this ones a Pontiac...
Great show guys. Thank you.
See Ya next week......
More than cool....my wife would go nuts for that. Beautiful.
That is so cool![/QUOTE]
Great show, all amazing stuff, have to say that striped tiki is just double wow awesomeness if there's such a thing.
Garrettero that will have me smiling forever, so my type of humour. Your a mad man
Hey guys, great show! I can't show what I've been working on, but I have an old one and a tribute tee design for my brother-in-law. He lost his battle with Cancer a month ago. He was an in-law by marraige, but a brother by choice! He's sorely missed!
I used a Tramps design pinstripe for the back ground.
..and this is an old one that Tramp and I drew this year at the Milwaukee World of Wheels. Sharpie on gesso'd masonite.
