Im gonna have to say again thats one nice kustom....
Beautiful work, beautiful car. I can only hope to have a kustom that nice someday. Simply fantastic.
Andreas, I agree with Rik, seeing those shots of your car and Kent's is like a time warp. Looking forward to seeing your's with shine!! - Dave
Snyggt gjort Andreas
It give me so much inspiration and its so nice to know that the grille bar ended up on the right car. I really look forward to see the steps that will taken the upcoming winter!
An old bw photo of the very same grille bar in place on my old -54, i was going to use a second grille bar to cut up to make it meet the bullets. Sold the car and the new owner finished it, color photo. He did not use the grille idea and sold the grille bar to Andreas...
whats not to like!
Wow...I saw what was apparently the 2007 version on ashoebox photo thread and thought you were done!
The Olds' quarters are a knockout...

fuckin Awesome car !
good work! perfect lines.
can you post pics of the side door glass and how they meet/seal with the roof?
Gorgeous! Beautiful metalwork with great proportions...I've enjoyed seeing this one come together. PS- how did you go about flattening the flare in the front of the Studey fender portions? Did you mig or gas weld most of it?
No that part is not finished yet! have just started on the sidewindow-frames
I shrink part of the flare(with a shrinker/stretcher) and pie cut some of it
here´s some pics,
One of the coolest shoeboxes out there, no doubt!!! You metal work is top notch man!!! Very Very inspiring!!!
Love your style!!
thanks for the window pic. How about a pic of the roof where the window meets the roof?
everybody has a favorite shoebox.... the buster litton box is mine.
very nice job man, very nice indeed.
Your car is bad ass. Nice work.
Thanks for the reply...very helpful as my buddy and I are going to build a Buster Litton clone as well, but with a Carson Top...he has the Stude and Olds fender pieces sitting in storage. It's fantastic to see this car as well as Dave York's shoebox up in Canada carry on the spirit of the Buster Litton Ford.
Perfect!! Let me know if you ever want to trade for a 53 pontiac .
Great looking shoebox, love the roof. You're doing a great job. What did you do with the tail lite portions of the rear 1/4s that you cut off? If you still have them, PM me....
Nicest shoebox I´ve ever seen.
Yeah, the shoebox is really something.....but:
You're not giving that away are ya?
thats awesome! ever think of pulling the headlights back juuusttt a tiny tiny bit? or extending the hood a little? just seems slightly extreme?? still looks awesome, just an observation.
Oh cool Would be cool to line up our cars for a pic! Yours,Daves and mine.
But theres some distance between us! USA/Canada/Sweden
No! im going to keep it, atleast for a while!
First have to finish it and then finish my 36 Roadster
I had that in mind! Rik did some photoshoping for me!
longer hood/ different length of fenders! I like this version best
