About a year ago, Kevin Silva was busting ass in preparation for the Round Up. After a ton of long days and nights, he just missed the show with his very traditional sedan (covered earlier here...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
That thing is very cool. I am considering a similar color for my '31 Chevy when if it actually gets to that point. It will be pretty close to the original color. But anyhow, that looks great. Nothing beats a simple, clean traditional car.......NOTHING!!
i love it , excellent choice on color and workmanship... need pics of the car finished......thanks ryan..
So by the looks of it I assume he is not going to the Roundup this year either? that sedan is gonna be the most traditionaly built one I have ever seen. Rusty
What kind of paint did Kevin use on it? I like this color better than the lighter blue also. It's going to be a nice mate to the Tardel-Cochran Coupe. JH
thatta boy Some sleepless nights ahead for yall too but it will be well worth it. Tell Mr Silva that is one fine looking Sedan Rusty
Lookin' great! The wheel 'n' tire size choice looks spot-on. Also, the red steering wheel compliments the blue and black really well. Good job, Kevin. Looking forward to the Roundup! Malcolm
That is very similar to the color that I am looking to paint my sedan too. Excellent choice, and great looking car. —MRAK
And I assume he's doing it in his own two car garage! Better crank-up some Jr. Brown and turn on the coffee pot, it's gonna take some do'in. I also like the darker color. I'll be lookin' for it.
That color reminds me of Corsair blue (Baa Baa Black Sheep), or the Hellcat and others 'fadeaway"(?) paint job. Thanks, Kurt
Kevin, Car looks great! I really enjoyed all of your attention to detail on the chassis. Looks great to see it mated with that super straight body! FONZI
Thanks for the kind words and encouragement fellas! As you should know... its by no means a solo accomplishment. I have had help from talented friends and a supportive wife. I'll name names when its finished and we do a proper photo shoot. Back to the shop.
I have no negative's at this time...it went on well. Its fresh, so I dont know about longevity color fastness or resilience to scratches.
