I love the lip detail around the nose. That makes the body look so professional. It's the little things. I can't imagine driving it (not that I would fit) with that rear end between my legs. Ouch!
What a good read. Thanks for the post! Thats pretty damn cool!
Damn fine looking car!

Beautiful car. I'd like to see more articles about these vintage drag racers.
At 6' 3" it's a tight fit in there, even more so with the canopy on. I've loved this car ever since reading @Ryan's article in Jalopy Journal #3. So when I saw it, I knew I had to ask if I could try it on for size...
Imagine going 100mph+ with that ring gear humming between your nuts! You do look happy in it!

Very cool. Amazing how small the hotrod world is at times.
Guess its time to go grab #3 and thumb threw it again
That’s one slippery lookn’ beast! Of course I’m grooving on the mini Covico wheel, too.
Cool piece of history. Ed had a lot of cool stuff. When I lived in the Bay Area, my brother and I would head over to his place in Richmond pretty often. Bought lots of parts from Ed.
