Tim, it's an electrical pump.
I wrap a small wet hotel towel around the pump and the car runs great again . Guess I better move the pump later into the tank.

Sounds great, I'm on the way and we reach Williams/Arizona yesterday

 

We're been following I-40 the last days . Made a trip up to Santa Fe and then west to Williams. Grand Canyon is today's first stop and then heading to Las Vegas .

Stopped at a small car museum in Santa Rosa.

 

Covered over 3800 miles now and sometimes Driving gets boring .

Arrived Vegas today, the traffic was as big as the Heat .

 

Martin: When you visited the wiskey distillers here in Kentucky you said you only "smelled" the bourbon. Have you "smelled" anything in Las Vegas?

You guys are great motivators!!! Danish friend of mine is flying over in Oct, we're going from North Carolina to Gulfport Mississippi for Crusin the Coast, this thread is making him so excited, he's wanting to fly over a month early!!! It' great you've had only minor issues, says a lot for the builds on these cars!! Great trip guys, best of luck!

Thanks guys !
We left L-V and went north to a very small town called Lee Vining in CA. It's next to Mono Lake and is also the east entrance for the Yosemite park. The scenic roads are unreal, totally amazing.
We went up Tioga for some breakfast yesterday and then back and headed up to then Ghost town Bodie which was abandoned in 1940.

Us 120 up to Yosemite.

 

Stayed in Lake Tahoe tonight and there was a Friday evening Get Together down town.

Yes, arrived to Pleasanton and been here doing the Hot rod week and even being tourists goin in to SF.
