Projects ***The roadster is FINALLY finished ****

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by X38, Oct 6, 2010.

  1. Well, it's finished, made it's first trip, nothing broke or fell off and while the owner is still cleaning the dirt off, he can't wipe that smile away!

For a first outing it was a pretty good one, 6 hours seat time each way. Naturally with a brand new car it rained for the first 2 hours. Not as bay as coming home though, it was HEAVY for the whole 6 hours. It was the first wet edition for this event in 34 years. What are the chances!

At this point I can't let it go without saying that the touchstone for this car was the Richard Munz roadster out of Brizio's shop. Although not a clone (actually many things are different), the owner loved the Munz car in TRJ and even more when he saw it at LARS, so it was a bit of a case of 'can I have one like that?' It worked out pretty damn well.

Congratulations! Great looking roadster. It takes a long time for that first ride smile to wear off.

I like your addition of the tire covers / fenders. Is there a fender law down under? Great job on the Roadster, enjoy!!

Very nice car . I had to look hard to see the fenders they just blend into the tires.

So do you have to trailer this beauty? It makes me sad if that is the case.
