Love Gambino's 54.The first time I ever rode in a kustom was when Alex took me around San Jose in it, really opened my eyes up, good shit

  3. Our own HotRodLadyCruser, Denise. On the road from Joplin to Springfield for the swap meet 2006. Same weekend as the HAMB drags, obviously.

We will be going to the Round up when we get the sport coupe done. Wish I could go this year. North Dakota to Austin, Tx should be a fun trip.

  8. little known fact... Instagram wasn't made for hipsters to show off their coffee. Actually it was devised by the good Lord just for Alex Gambino's pictures.

  12. I love road trip threads so much, I feel like I (or someone more talented) should make a trophy for the best of each year... as voted on by the people or course.

Real time road trip updates?... This JJ post actually comes at the perfect time. Left Omaha on Monday, headed for the Lonestar Roundup with Steve (18N57). He's drove his cool '34 Ford coupe down from Bookings, SD. When we left Monday morning, there was snow on the grass and on his car and it was 23 degrees. I'm driving my roadster - talk about fucking cold!

I can relate to that statement.

  23. I've been on many long roadtrips in the coupe ... but the most memorable one was our journey to the 1980 NSRA Nationals in Memphis ... We took the "long route" ... drove north to visit my grandparents farm in Minnesota ... before heading south to Tennessee:

    On the journey to Minnesota,
Dad & I took turns driving the coupe
... while the rest of the family traveled
    in my aunt's "chase van"

The HEMI32 coupe's return to its
"birthplace" (it hadn't been back in ND
since leaving the Midwest in 1962)

Mom & Dad made the trek from Memphis back to Cali with 4 other rods (2 hiboy roadsters & 2 chopped Tudor sedans)

    HOT ROD's are for DRIVING!

Back home ... Can't believe we
fit all that stuff in the trunk of a
    channeled 5-window coupe!

It's not about the destination,it's about the journey.

Left Vegas on Monday about 10 and we were going by the Hoover dam and saw Alex and the 53 ford on top of that road and then got into Kingman for some in n out. When we were pulling out here comes Mark with Victoria secret. I guess we should have waited a little longer cuz Alex and them showed up. Some pics at in n out.
