    I used to be a huge fan of them…but eventually kinda burnt myself out. Always respected how much of a car guy he is. Anyway last year the Toadies were doing a 25th anniversary of Rubberneck tour and I had to go…and the Rev was opening. The crowd was great, but it was Dallas so pretty expected. They played pretty much all of Space Heater which is what was out around the same time 25 years ago, and it very much reminded my how much I still love their music.

    Oh yeah! Saw them first in 1995 when they toured with my other favorite Texas hot rodder rock-n-rollers...ZZ Top! I've seen them maybe a dozen times since. Just a good band. Jimbo sat with us after one show in Detroit and drank beers until we had to go. I'll never forget that!
