  3. Late entry. Squeezed it in as a few guys that were building cars had to regretfully cancel.

  6. MEL!! Yea man the event was a HUGE success, the Hot Rod Hill Climb Legends had a ball, it was quite a party! The Flooding and media warnings to "stay home" didn't stop us! People showed up and we had a BLAST!

You know I had thought about recreating the Hot Rod Hill Climb for years, I just didn't have the complete vision, But wen ROG hit last year and the world went wild, I knew I had to do it, and I knew it had to be a similar model. I choose 50 cars all 1954 and earlier, and early 50's hot rod style. we nailed it, we had 52 cars and they were great, the only issue we had was an empty gas tank on the way back down the hill.

Your advice and nudge was what I needed. Thanks for the Support and Encouragement.

  8. Mel, a question for you about tickets. I didn't see it on the site, but maybe I missed it earlier in the thread. After we purchase our beach pass tickets, we get a receipt. I assume there will be wrist bands once we get there. We just bring a printout of our receipt to get our wrist bands?
Can we beat the line and get them Friday night at the check in or do we get them on Saturday?

I paid, but when I tried printing the receipt it said their program wasn't compatible with Explorer 7 (?). My email program has E7 built in -- its not upgradable.
I suppose I'll foward the email to a different computer and hope I can get it to print there.

    Carbs are easier than computers...

  13. Oh man, I have to agree about computers. Sometimes a pain in the ass! Gremlins left the airplane industry and found a new residence.

Ill ask. I'm not in charge of that, so I'm unsure.

I was given physical tickets to sell, and they have a numbered stub attached. I've been to busy to try and sell.

Yes, you can buy tickets on Friday. We will be at the racers registration table all day, all night Friday... across from the Starlux Hotel in the airstreams.

    No worries!

Andy, how does it look from behind, since that's most likely the way I'll be seeing it....

Haha, it looks... well, a bit LUMPY...:D I can't understand it, that panel below the deck is like a sack of walnuts and the quarters are smooth as new and they don't appear to have ever been apart!

...and, truth be told... er, um, I should probably just tone it down a bit with the smack talk because it technically hasn't moved under its own power yet so... you may not be eating my sand just yet!

Hah!:D:D:D I'll just pull four wires and we'll have a run at it!
