Morning and Happy Easter! Would someone be so kind as to give my coupe a gunmetal/blackish body with a sunset/rust red top? Sorry for the unorthodox photo angle. I’m thinking of splitting the color at the sill for the natural lines and contour. Thanks, Gents!
Me too! Someone needs to build this one. I always wondered why those Nash's didn't look more Euro, being they were Pinin-Farina designed, but this rendering is great.
I saw this and threw my version away. I want this car!
I think Nash just built the prototype .....
Did not see that coming! Love the originality on here.
Could this Corvair get a vintage road race set up with these wheels please and thank you

Working on my Model A roadster pickup and was thinking of repainting it...
Was thinking a Navy Blue, Forest Green or maybe Maroon...
Also painting the wheels black.
And if possible see what an oxblood colored seat would look like?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks guys , I agree with you about the wheels and he says thank you .
How about lowering the radiator on that one . . .
Wow! Thanks so much Moose! Those look great!!!
Eventually I plan to lower the radiator too like @Stan Back said... Thanks again!
I know James D has done one of these before, but I'd like to see it taken a bit further. I would love to see this as a 2 door with the roof pushed forward slightly. (a 2 plus 2) Get rid of the door frames and fit chrome Matanga style window trims. It might need a slight chop to bring it into proportion. Oh and lowered. Thanks......
Here's my 2-door restyle. I played around with the Matranga style windows, but I couldn't get it to work with the roofline, so I went with a hardtop style.
The Matranga style side windows are hard to make work. You need to have a window line that´s a constant curve and this Vauxhall has a flat spot. Are you up for remaking the gutter shape?
Very roughly (since i´m supposed to be working), is this the sort of thing you were after?
James. sorry, I did a quick riff on your depiction and wondered if the side window he was referring to was the way
the two joined on the Matranga Merc. You are correct though, in the roof line and everything else has to have
the right flow. A lot of work.
Had a bit of time to smooth this out....
I´d have thought it wouldn´t be impossible to make some new window profiles from tube. I used to have a Karmann Ghia and the side windows in those just mount onto flat sheet metal. They aren´t complicated.
I´ve come to the conclusion that those Matranga/Hirohata side windows only have the space to work on really low chops or cars with very small rear quarter windows.
Cheers guys. Gives it a slightly lighter look......Thanks
Can anyone lower my Biscayne 2-3-4 inches?
I like it, thanks Moose.
Agree on the wheels....
Wow. You Hambers are tough. I looked for those wheels for 6 months. Can you photoshop onto my lowered Biscayne the wheels that I need?
I don't think he and I know I was not talking about your wheels. This is the one pictured above....https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/attachments/4645829/
I think your wheels look pretty good.
Slim. the comments about wheels weren't referring to you. They were in reference to 38Nailhead's posting
You gotta have thick skin or a sense of humor to survive the Hamb.
