Thanks, Squablow. You guys are the BEST!
Over it goes!
Since you're doing all that metal work, did you give any consideration to just removing the posts? And maybe taking some of the "bulk" out of the grille? Just some random thoughts.
I'd keep the plastic tray on the rear fender though.
Probably look better with both posts removed.
Here's another thought. How 'bout a '48 Fleetline roof with "adjustments?" Might be easier and I think it was mentioned elsewhere one was available. As for the grill, '48 Fleetline grill w maybe just a roll pan under it.
Wow! Thanks guys!
It's not my decision, but I'll re-post all for the owner to see.
All these suggestions should at least serve to stimulate the creative juices.
Thanks again, one and all...Some great ideas here!
Hey guys! Can anyone give my coupe coupe a 3 1/2” chop in photoshop?
This is just an approximation.
Thanks! I should take a new photo with a tap measure next to the A pillar
wrap a piece of 3 1/2 tape around the pillar would be the easiest, lower to the tape disappears.
Ok I got the tape wrapped around the B pillar. I’m undecided on three different chops. 3”, 3 1/2” or 4”
The first picture is with the tape at 3” the second at 3 1/2 and the third picture at 4”. If you guys could give me a hand with the photochop and paint the headlight bucket black I’d really appreciate it!
Matt, good thing you did this, I was way off in my approximation. Here they are in descending order 3", 3.5" and 4".
Thanks man! mind doing one more at 2”? I like 3” but think it may be a tad to much!
If anyone out there is real bored, I've always dreamed if putting the roof, windshield and all, from a 1971 Riviera on to a 1959 Chevy. Could it actually be done? Would it be a radical custom or an ugly abortion? I always thought that crazy rear window would look neat between the fins.
do a 5" and a 6" too please
3 1/2' looks the best on your car I think. proportions seem to fit
Here it is with a 2" chop.
Not sure if this is what your thinking of but .....
I wonder what it would look like without the chop but sectioned instead. Then maybe chopped and sectioned.

I'll only say that I'm a big fan of sectioned but unchopped rides...
Could someone remove the Chevelle and headlights in the rear window of this photo for me? I’d really appreciate it. Thank you.
Looks a little clunky, but kind of cool. (red would NEVER be my color choice, for anything) Nice work.
OK ...Here's a few more color options. If I remember correctly you are
bit partial to bright white.
Nice job with the photoshop, but something about the combination makes me think of the vehicles in the "Cars" movies.
Thanks much Moose. Great work as usual. Much appreciated.
I wonder if some lace panels on the C-pillar and roof would visually lighten the bulky look a bit.
They are all awesome TheMoose!
A bit of custom paint work might help some..
