    I watch this thread all the time. You guys are an inspiration. I just got my A registered and have been doing short cruises. Maybe time to consider colors. I've always been partial to jade green and pagan gold, but I'm open 20181025_133835 (3).jpg . I'll eventually get a few sets of wheels/tires so I can change up the look. Any other input or ideas are appreciated. Thanks!

    Nice car! I like the simple caps and tires on it, so I gave her a color combo with a sixties vibe.

    @Barn Hunter

    For some reason I have this recent affinity for the 60's. Maybe all the drugs I took back then are finally kicking in.

    The reason of the paintjob of the shoebox being so hard to get right is the fact that its actually a multi-tone job :) the results are great though, great job guys!
    I miss partcipating in this thread, the quick jobs were good fun

    Edit: wanted to attach a pic, so i went off to google, but realised - how am I even going to find it? First thought - entering "root beer shoebox" - was more than enough :D

    Wow, the blue looks great on it. Not too sure about the two tone; Yeah at this point I'm having too much fun driving it to start cutting and changing it too much. Probably some wide whites and some Lancer caps or something similar, and I might add a two-tone, or scallops, some kind of splash of color to contrast all that silver. Thanks!

    Not the greatest, the paint looks flat and blotchy.

    Very cool! Thanks, guys. I have always liked the white top/interior/running board/firewall treatment. Interesting to see the different colors. I do have a full hood for it. Maybe radirs at some point, like I had on my '28.

  13. You talked about jade green...I think it would look great. Had to add a wheel treatment and a chrome door handle for to finish it off.....Oh yeah I also added the "Barn Hunter" graphic to give it that personal touch;)

    Very cool. Color and wheels really do make a difference. Wheels you can change out...color you have to make a commitment. Nice job and Thank you!

    image.jpg Any chance I could get this photoshopped to see what it would look like with the body and frame '57 Chevy Sierra Gold.

    Dad and a uncle had one years ago that was I think 69 GM rally green or similar to todays synergy green you see on some newer camaros etc. then they had a white one after the uncle turned the green one on its side one night.
    They swapped all the stuff off the green one onto the white one.
    The uncle had a set of 50s or 60s series tires on probably at least a set of 10 inch wide cragars poking out from under the wheel wells of the little jacked up chevy II at one time:D...:cool:

    Would it be possible to see this in Kawanee Green or possibly some other subdued color. I really think it is time to tone it down.
    Thanks
