image.jpg Hi I'm looking to make some changes on my 46 ford ute, I'd really appreciate help with turning my car into a three window coupe ute. Using a second set of front doors reversed to make the rear tops of the doors, and to lengthen them? So eliminating the side window, moving the pillar back? Thanks in advance.

Moose that's fantastic! Thank you! That's exactly what I had in mind. Now to make the decision to go ahead with it. Did you fatten the rear of the roof at all? Johnny

  8. No...Just filled in what was left of the rear window and relocated the drip rail to match the new door and window couture. I didn't need to touch the roof

I have gathered all of your posts so far and have started by printing larger pics which I will be cutting and overlaying to get a better indication where to cut (more precisely, where NOT to cut).
The car is being delivered tomorrow after being transported 800 + miles.
Once the 500 SEL Mercedes (88) is gone, there should be plenty of room.

  14. Excellent! Hope it goes well with the delivery and the chopping.
    I guess you´ll start a thread?

  16. I don't know what it is but lately I've been getting into the lines of the early Studebaker's. I've been playing around with a 53 Champion and here's what I came up with.....

    The original style...

And after a roof chop and roof line mod , drop and a few other custom touches 111.jpg

Here's a challenge; This car set up as a gasser ( nose UP) with the tunnel rammed 327, slicks on back, spoke wheels up front, black fenders and a hugger orange body?? and some "push button" body work( lotta tricky manipulation)
    Thanks- winter project 2016/ 17 ?? (18??)
