[IMG]Can someone Photoshop my 54 Plymouth savoys beltline down in pearl white? Thinking of pearl white or a similar green shade. Thanks!

Just wondering if you guys could help me out on my RPU... Just trying to see what the wheels would look like in black- I'm thinking of going with '35 Ford wire wheels, but these are already on it, and have good tires...

    Thanks!

Thank you Ruben that looks pretty cool. Its funny to see my shoebox in paint, it seems so far off from that stage but slowly I'm getting there. Any chance on a flat or semi gloss medium to dark rootbeer brown? Really would apreciate it.

    My pleasure, Brent.

I gradually tweaked the color more toward brown, removing some of the red/ saturation and darkening it each time. I think the last image is probably the closest to a medium root beer. I know it's still glossy, but I think it's closer to what you might be looking for.

No prob, Brent....I really love that long, swept roof line. That's gonna be a great lookin custom once it's finished.

Hope you don't mind, but the only black wires I had in my pic archives had these tires wrapped 'round them....so I just threw them in. Looks kinda nice all black, though ;)

^^^Red is real nice, man.....it's certainly a tough choice, but in my most humble opinion, I really prefer it the way it is.

This is more like the way I'd set it up.....not an extreme change from what you already have, just little changes. Either way, I'm sure that lil RPU will come out nice.

Wow! That's some fine work you're doing on my RPU :D

I most certainly agree now about keeping it black, and losing the hood sides definately made a difference... Very nice looking. Had been thinking of chopping the windshield, but it looks pretty cool in stock form there.

    Thanks again!

  12. Can you guys please Photoshop a custom grille on this truck? Maybe a 58 impala bumper with a drawer knob grille. Or a TBird, Oldsmobile bumper with a drawer knob/bullet grille. I'm trying to go for a late '50s early '60s look. Thanks!

Two versions of the '58/'59 I did:

'52 DeSoto teeth with '53 Chevy parking lights:

    Floating bullet grille.
You can get these chrome bullets from Gene Winfield.

How about extending the lower chrome trim onto and past the skirts at the back? Guess that would optically stretch the car even further and drag her more to the ground (again optically).

Here is the Lincoln as you requested. Honestly, I think it looks too heavy and too busy.

I really like the '55 Lincoln, so I gave it the mild custom treatment and see what I could do with it:

Shaved handles, script and antenna to start. I wanted to keep the Lincoln styling cues, so I just modified the rear quarter chrome to give it a slimmer look. Then I used a long, one-piece skirt to give an unbroken line at the rear.

Wide whitewalls with '56 Lincoln Premier wheel covers look elegant and keep it in the family. I dropped the nice square wheel arch down over the tire for a lower look. Then I dropped the side chrome down to match.

Lastly, I angled the headlight hood to make it look less goggle-eyed.

    Derthor,
Glad you liked it. I didn't know the car belonged to you and not the person who posted the request.

I really like this one! Can you do this with the fenders in the same blue as the first blue please? Also, any other colors on the fenders you think would look good? Anything but green is ok by me.

    Thanks!

good friend and fellow hamber just picked up this low mileage '54 Buick Special. The org. Hubcaps are okay, but would like to see it with some '56-57 Caddys, 53-55 olds spinners, '56 olds spinners, and some Skylark wires. Or, if you have other ideas! Thanks in advance and thanks for all the cool ideas fellas!! Wish I could do the magic that some of you guys do. Paul
added a Dayton wire to try!
