Sorry forgot to hit attach! Any suggestions are welcome!
Here you go, kind of rough and ready. I tried to make a similar shape to the 41 Plymouth grille. Just used mesh as it was quicker than punched out grille - couldn´t find any of that.
Can someone please chop this coupe. About 4 inches. Tough decision.
Here ya go, approximately . . .
Thats along the lines of what I was thinking! Thanks...My wheels are really turning! I think I'm gonna start by making the first version with 2-3" holes as I can do it with stuff I've got or can get for cheap, and see if I like it mocked up.
Perfect. Thanks a lot. I appreciate it.
Oh and I just noticed the hood too! That might make an appearance one of these days when I get the grill opened up, as I'm worried about air flow with that little opening!
some great talent here.. would any of you guys be willing to do some photoshoping on a little idea I have on my 59 truck?it involves some major changing of the front end..
Post some photos of it and your ideas and see what happens.
Can someone throw some color on this one ?? Thinking red possible or that old Turquoise-ish blue. Thanks !
Can anyone throw a new two tone on this truck, ? dark blue down to the belt line then silver on the bottom with some 22.5 polished aluminum alcoa classic rims ??? granson bought this diesel truck thanks...
Did this fast gives the car a bit of a mouth.
I've got a request.
I traded 2 Ducati Monster 900 for the 1953 Plymouth.
The top was cut off and since Belgium has such nice weather I'm planning to get a Carson top.
But I want to get some idea how it would look with a Carson top. I like the shape on the blue one I found on here, but I want to start the top right behind the door.
Hopefully someone could help me out.
here is my 59..
Id like to see what it would look like with a 60 f100 chrome upper grille and the dagmars or with the whole bumper and part of grille section of a 57 caddy.. like this
sorry kinda ruff, but you get the jist
Hope this is okay.
Wife wants me to put the color of this merc on my 38 chevy. I just want to see what it would look like.
This is Cool Job well done
I'm gonna use it as a reference. It's going to be our next winter project.
Thanks for the help.
here ya go
sorry its a lil sloppy.
This is what I would do... well I would re-plate the bumpers and get a nice gloss paint job also...
Rik, you've nailed it!!! This is the look I'm going for! I was hoping you would do your magic on it.
If I had the money I would love to paint the car in darkblue gloss paint and rechrome the bumpers. But first the roof so we can enjoy it a little more.
Btw I'm the guy who bought 2 books for my brother and me. Still amazed about the work.
Thank you to whoever did this ! that is going to look AWESOME for the grandson.....
I think that could work out. Not too sure about the scale of some of these parts, but it can´t be far off. I lowered the front of the hood too, to close up the odd gap that´s there from the factory.
Can someone get creative with paint on this? Maybe a flat green, red oxide, or flat orange
Not that the wide whites look wrong, but I kind of like those 'braided' white walls that are on your original photo. I can't say I've ever seen that before on a tire. It's different.
James thats awesome thanks! I think i can see shortening it a bit height wise and making it longer so that the dagmars are more in the center..but now i can look around for some!
Can I see my roof painted white like this one?? Thank you
