Hard car to do anything with, without hacking it up. A quick way to make it look a bit better IMO is dump the back bumper and hide the back windows with limo tint and black out the trim. Also drop the back a wee bit.

Real cool man! Thanks! The color combo is rad! Would you be able add lake pipes maybe instead of the exhaust coming out the front fender? And if you're bored, maybe other color combos for the hell of it?
    Thanks again!

    Mr Nilsson,
Honestly, they all look great - nice contrast and tone matching.

But if I had to pick one, I'd go with copper body and silver top, just because that combination will stand out from the crowd.

Starting with JamesD's excellent rendition, I took the body work a bit farther and went for a copper-brown combo.

I like the details - rear fender opening, sidepipe, and the paint break on the nose.

  13. I like that a lot. You don´t see enough brown/copper/gold.

Heres another for Ficco55merc. I saw your car at the Alter Boys show. I have a soft spot for the 55/56 mercs, my dad has a 55.

Any chance I could get one of you truly talented Photoshop guys to do something with my '55?

I've always assumed I would paint it Hugger Orange or Porsche Guards Red, but since I started priming it in green (just to avoid standard gray or red oxide) I've been thinging of keeping it in the green family.

I wander from a light mint green:

to a later model bright green:

to an old school color like this kinda Army green gloss (I'd LOVE this if I still had my '46):

And of course, lower it down off it's "tip-toes" like it is now. Not slammed and not bagged, just lowered to a daily driver level that will look good with the old Torq Thrusts on it. Any help with that would be appreciated.

Wow, thanks '54 Caddy! I'm not sure how I feel about those colors. MAYBE I like the mint and the last green color. Is that last green the one from the COE I posted?

PS: Any chance I could get you to put a bright orange and a bright red on the other photo of the truck from the front?

Bringing my car back in. Can anyone make the back rim match the front, lower it a bit, match the roof to the wheels, and wide whites?

Heres a few quick ones Dan, so you can get the idea. The dark green from the COE is hard to copy. I just tried a couple different dark greens for you in the other post.

This is a pic stolen from the web similar to what I am trying to build. (if I knew who built or the owner I would site them) Could someone please add 3" to the cab and do a 3"-4" chop? I'm tall and need a little extra room for 3 pedals and don't want to mess up the proportions. Thanks

I added the length through the door before chopping.
If you're tall, you'll need the extra-long door to get in and out.
Better side visibility, too. Is this what you had in mind?
