Got a bigger pic? This one is coming out fuzzy when I try to enlarge it to 800 X 500. If not, I 'll give it a shot anyway.

Here's another. Got the colors off of "Kopperhead" from the Gearz tv show, but it didn't seem too translate too well.

  9. Sorry if it's been asked before, but I'm just learning to photoshop and was wondering how you add or change color on a car that's in bare steel. I can change the color on a painted car using color adjust and hue but not on a car that's silver, gold or bare steel. How do you guys do it?

How I change color is to add a layer, and then paint what needs to be painted on that layer. Then play with the layer options in the layers palette. Try "overlay", or "multiply." You might also play with the transparancy of the layer. Play with it and you'll see what I mean.

  13. When does that happen? I seem to be stuck at the "practice makes mediocre" level.

ok so, I have some wide white walls coming, and the 3" drop in the rear should be on this weekend... the only thing I am stumped on for the time being is the color to paint the rims...
the car is a light mint green and it will be for a while but I don't like the mint green rims... I was thinking black w/the beauty rings but I am open to any suggestions... at least for the long while before I paint the car.

if anybody would like to play with it, it would be cool...
    in advance much thnx!

I'd like to see my '31 sedan with a '31 roadster body in it's place. Here are the pics of both.

    Maroon or Black.... White firewall.

    Thanks in advance.

Hey Guys I have a fairly simple request, I have been thinking of these wheels for my car and would like to see what they look like on the body with wide whites, and to keep my mind open if you feel like a smaller whitewall that would be great also. Thank you so much for the hard work!!

I'm not sure whether to title this " A Photoshop For The New Year" or "What You get While Screwing Around With The Buttons" but I guess they both work. :D

Hey guys can I ask for a thinner white for an option and Miss Misery straight across the skirt and a little bigger...Im not trying to be a pain in the ass, just trying my best to get a true pic of what will look like when I am finished...also maybe lift the car 3 inches or so-so it is not sitting on the ground. I really appreciate the help, also could you transfer the actual pic of the wheel, for some reason it looks like cartoonish...Thanks again guys!!!!

Don't know if the angle will work or not, I want to redo this more in a girly theme for our daughter, maybe some scallop work or something. It is hard for me to envision a "hot rod" in a girly look, any takers. Thanks Joe
