Clyde is working on his lifelong project.
A 51 Chevy pickup. He made the drive on a Harley all the way from Fayetteville, WV to Manitowoc, WI to get training on his new Power Hammer.
Here are some pics and a couple movies of his training. You can click the movies to watch.

My Yoder-like hammer is officially finished. After 18 months of hard work my hammer is done. I always wanted to own an original Yoder but since they are practically unavailable or "unaffordable", I decided to build this one. It is now my pride and joy !!

Here are some pics of my shop. 2 restored double headed Yoders, Restoring a double headed Pettingall behind 1929 Cadiilac wood frame, other side of Cadillac are 2 Pullmax, and very hard to see in front of the yoder is a old CP plannishing hammer.

Actually i am restoring a building built in the 40's for my new shop. Its a cool building with glass running down both sides of the building and around the back, the front has 3 in the front all rotted away though (finished 1). I'm just happy to have a building with glass though. Here is a night shot, little fuzzy.

Can anybody put up examples of "electro mechanical" power hammers? An old friend emailed me telling me he's selling one and I'm curious what it could look like?

  24. What does he mean by electro mechanical? To me any electrically driven machine is electro mechanical hence all power hammers are as well.
