Is ChromeplaterJosh still doing the work? He was, then he left. Is he back at his Dad's shop now? Many years ago he plated some pitted parts for me and they turned out great.
I don't think Josh is still working there, but it is his family's operation and they are wonderful to deal with.
Purdy. I like the shiny stuff!
This pile of parts makes a 389 Pontiac.
Shiny end. These are the pistons that took 6 months to appear.
This is a Browell bellhousing alignment tool. Beats the hell out of dicking around with a dial caliper.
See ya, -Abone.
Looks great,,,,,,should really haul !
Short block looks really good .
Engine is together except for the new blower. This is the mock up that came off my Model A.
Engine in for the last time. If the blower ever shows up, I'll get this bitch fired.
That thing is a Beast!
That is a real hot rod,,,,it justifies all the hard work you put in .
Your getting close!
What do you expect for horsepower, 500? Maybe more?
PLEASE...Tell me you're gonna keep this one!!!!
Hi Bob. This one should make close to 700. It is a little more serious than the blown Pontiac in my Model A. I don't plan on getting rid of it, but I'm up to 5 cars and it gets a little hard to justify dragging more shit home.
Hope you are having fun with yours.
Very nice, good example of what a hot rod looks like.
Looks good Jeff.
Killer! Love it jeff
Not really progress. I'm still waiting on the new blower, so I slapped the grille and headlights on.
If the blower shows up this week, I will fire this bitch next weekend.
Man, that car is freakin mean! I love the blown poncho power. Hope you up load a video when you get it fired up.

FINALLY some real progress. The new blower finally showed up.
It even fits.
First fire up.
Next is glass, brakes, finish the wiring then around the block.
Holy shit! I like it! Sounds awesome
Just checking in on the progress and usual bad ass.
I thought it seemed a little docile up front but when you went around to the back it's got some Bruce Lee chop to it.
Car looks sinister from the front with the grill on it now.

Looking and sounding good.
Will the carbs be set-up progressive?
First post here in years... man you make quick work of creating iconic hot rods!!!! She's a beaut!
Will this one be making the trip to the HAMB Drags next August?
