robber, you are awesome and quick.. thanks

are reproduction being made or do I need to search junk yards or classifieds if they do work

  3. ^^ you're welcome and they are being reproduced now-a-days too...

    one possibility http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cbe/full.aspx?Page=21

but you might also try The Truck Shop in Orange, CA

There was a pair in the HAMB classifieds not that long ago in Ventura CA and there is a dude in Rochester, MN that deals in good clean used stuff - I've talked to him on hoods -
    or just hit CL

    Good luck!

  7. mano - I'm loving your truck - what a beauty!

I bolted a 78 burb crossmember in my 62 C10 and I hope to get back on all fours soon... just a bit lower.

About time this got on here in the new paint

  11. Did a little interior stuff. I bought that seat awhile back because it was only $75 on craigslist and it was the right color. It may not have been what I would have done on an unlimited budget, but it wasn't poking my posterior like the seat that was in there. Over the weekend I added a shoulder harness thing in the middle so I could feel better about my 8-year-old son riding along.

So, I picked this up Monday. Original 230 straight 6, 3 on the tree, no a/c, no radio, no power brakes, no power steering...

All the bells and whistles...I've got some work to do to make it a comfortable daily driver, but that's the fun, ain't it?
