Anyone educate me on this bump
In the frame of this 63 short bed? Wondering if this was factor installed or owner?
    Thanks

Mine '64 is sitting in storage again.. She's been without a motor
since '95. But she will run again. I just got through replacing/fixing the
brakes due to dry rot. The bump in the frame looks familiar, but you have
me wanting to go out to the barn and check..

That bump is there for a reason,,,,,On the inline 6s,,if it wasnt there it would be even a bigger pain to change the oil filter,,,,,,

90% of the Repo grille went to the scrap pile. Only 10% will be used.

Hey thats my crew cab which was a CA forestry truckin NorCal. It was built in the Missouri plant then sent to Armbruster-Stageway in Fort Smith AK to be stretched.

Its been my daily driver since I purchased it in January 2005. Did motor swap last year and have a 700r4 on order. Have long stepside bed that will be slapped on after the trans is in. Need narrower tires to clear the fenders.

Currently sits on 235/70-16 up front and 265/70 out back. drop is a 3front and 5 rear for now.

it was a 10 by 12 patio we tore out for a freind. couldnt make it over the curb to dump it. usually when its loaded, it drives like caddy, when its over loaded, it drives like an over powered tuner. but oad springs and oversized shock should keep us going.

I got to say what a great thread. its given me plenty of ideas. here is some pictures of my trucks. the 62 step is my daily driver with the 235 and a 3 speed. I got the 63 off craigslist its got a 283 and a powerglide. i plan on just using it as a parts truck. also got a 60 im working on now. i plan to make it my daily. its got a 305 and a 3 speed with overdrive. i don't know who the girl is but she wanted to pose with my truck at a swap meet.;)

Here's my 65, bought new in 65 by my grandpa. Nothing special and not perfect, but not bad to be completely done by my dad and myself, and to be painted under a tree in the back yard. :)

What are those headlights from? I was thinking of doing something similar, but didn't know what to use or how it would look. It is pretty cool.
