I didn't need that mental picture. Hahaha

  7. Thanks.

No good photos, just some pics I took for insurance. The truck has had a pretty easy life and is now in my shop getting prepped for paint. Not much rust, going to be painted Galway Green (703a) and Cameo white.

I'll try to get one with the seat installed, ratchet shifter w/ an extra handle added for length.

American AutoWire... AWESOME kit, and they even go so far as to have wiring diagrams for the different instrument clusters; the '60-'63 trucks came with full gauges, partial gauges with idiot lights, all idiot lights and a gas gauge, and then the '64-'66 clusters.
Every wife is labeled along its full length, so when you can easily keep track of what's what at the back of the car, for instance.

    Price was good, too.

anybody ever seen any gassers in this body style???? ive got a 62 burban thats pretty far gone in all the right places to be cut up for a gasser type project..

  24. legaly this one should have been in gas class instead of stock class. But part of racing is not outclassing yourself.

Oh you mean like in late '60s type of gaser?

Mine went over the scales at 4,000 pounds, without sound deadening, an interior or weather stripping.
I can't imagine trying to make something to take down the track out of it.
    Unless it's to push-start a race car.

Any one got an idea on how many yard/feet of carpet would go in a 60-66.
