Well i appreicate the comments. Jsut would like to replace some of the rust on there and maybe a drivers door. Mister Twister looks like you got quite a project ahead of ya! Glad to see so many others out there though Maybe we can get the aftermarket to pick up a little more on these trucks (my 63 doors!) :D

Does any body know where there is a "rust free" boneyard for our trucks?

Cut springs in front for now, its not drivable yet. Rear is a bolt in airbag not fully air'd out, waiting on notch and 3" block in rear, then 2.5" dropped spindle with bags in the front and a modified front crossmember. It will lay frame w drag blocks.

Looking for some Cragar SS and some wide whites and then hit the road once the transmission is good to go.

Wow two new ones in a day! Gonna be a good day. Good call on air in the rear... Wish I would have gone that route. Word to the wise e.c.e. Disc brake kit wont fit just any 15" steel rim. They claim there is a "disc brake steelie" and a "drum brake steelie". The drum brake steel wheel doesnt fit and requires a 1/2 inch spacer and longer studs. Wish they would have mentioned that before i powder coated mounted and balanced my wheels! I asked if I was buying a disc brake kit wouldn't it be safe to assume that I am removing drums, therefore it probably has the "drum wheels" not asking for much but a footnote would have been nice. Just don't slap it all together and assume. If I hadn't had some sixteens layin around I would have been s.o.l. until the parts stores opened on Monday even then you have to special order the spacer if your running six lug (like me) ... Sorry for the rant but something to look out for!
