Thank you! It’s still a work in progress.

  2. Yep... Standard wide fives in front, Ford accessory "Farm Implement" wide fives in back. They're an inch wider. Hard to find now, the circle track boys used them all up. They were called "Manure Spreaders"

This little wayward project came back to me after a number of years. She is currently in a million pieces and will be finished summer or so.

I posted mine once in this thread a while back but I guess I should update it since it’s been chopped since then. Work done by Brandon at East Bay Speed And Custom.

Well, it's sorta like a coupe, when the top is up;)...and it certainly shares those same "blind spots" as a 3 Window:(

    Just starting on a 36’ 3W.
    283, T5, 9”
Came to me with parallel rear leaf kit, CE split wishbone kit & CE motor mounts.
Could someone please give me a measurement from front of frame back to leading edge of motor mounts ?

This is the one that took kind of a detour along the way.

Yea, kinda. I sold the car half done to a buddy of mine, but after a while, he realized he didn't have the time for a full on project, so she came back to me.

B216F272-BA85-431C-96A6-1221AB2B3542.png And more than a little confused. As looking at pictures here on HAMB. Some guys have SB Chev Chassis Engineering Mounts on top of frame, and some have them under top lip of frame.

283 / T5 set in with CE motor mounts on top of frame for now.
Hopefully tomorrow or Saturday morning some help stops by , so can set Body on Frame to check Engine / Firewall clearance.

    Looking for a little help.
Starting with a 35’ Coupe , putting on 36’ sheet metal & grill.
I have original radiator support rods maxed out . Original Radiator.
Hood matches to Cowl and Grill pretty close .
Car did not come with a original 36’ hood ornament. It came with a Drake repro .
I have Drake repro hood ornament snug on top of radiator.
Got the bottom ornament holes centered good and grill up close to bottom of it .
BUT, the ornament holes are out ahead of grill holes by 1/4” to 3/8” .
Have any of you have trouble with 36’ Drake repro hood ornament ?
    Any suggestions ?
    Thanks, Stretch

  27. Good luck on the project @ssffnomad ... I have heard of issues with the Drake Bull Nose repro's for 36's not fitting.
It was a bitch but my guy got it to line up and fit nice finally... I'm sure the V8 Drake Hood Ornament is the same issue.. maybe someone has a tip for you here... be patient someone will chime in
