  11. Radiator support and dash intact, hope the cowl area is good. Liftgate and tail area look nice as well. Will be watching this one!

Took a close up look at the rear glass hatch..

I struggled with a 57 nomad back hatch for over a year.

Researched several bone stock , unmolested cars.. they all looked different , and fit was from poor to horrible..
They all leaked but 1 !

Finally found a guy that was a former Danchuck employee..
He came to my shop and straightened it with a homemade jig / fixture and several propane torches..

Got it super close to perfect..
    Charged me 450....
    Worth every penny..

I'd completely forgotten about that fellow. Yeah, he was the only one out there that understood that there was a desperate need for help, and he had the whole Nomad tailgate and window assembly really dialed in. He was THE guy ... ;)

If this is a "complete build" I would hate to see your idea of a quickie job.....

Complete build means scuff the paint and rust, then shoot some fresh paint.

I guess I´ll have to re-cast my vote on the recent poll, where we were asked to evaluate and rate our amateur abilities.
:D I ´d thought a nomad could be worth enough to go the extra mile to remove the glass, doors, frontclip etc and clean it up nicely before any paint is shot. No offense intented...your car your ways.

ok, I thought it was your own. You obviously have the skills to do nice bodywork, that made me wonder why you would hesitate to blow it apart.

Not suggesting that this is the case here, but sometimes you just have to turn-down jobs and walk away from projects. Your name will now be linked to this car for the foreseeable future. If someone is asking you to cut corners, it will ultimately reflect on you, not them. You'll work on a lot of cars in your lifetime, but you have only one reputation ...

  28. 'Complete build' must have a different meaning where you live.
Also, you've shown the same engine that is apparently going in the 4 to 2 door conversion. ???

  29. Will this be a build or a complete build?
