I really want to know what sizes are available for 14" wheels of this style tire.
Would 165/65/14 or 165/70/14 be available?
    They are so awesome!

oh, and of course how much dinero.

They don’t show exactly that in their catalogue, but I’ll bet Diamondback can put a dual-pinstripe whitewall on a radial like that. As for the ribbing design, you’re probably stuck with reproduction bias plies from Coker.

Not sure if I posted these since I've had them mounted but....

5.50-16" Firestones up front and 7.50-16" Lesters out back. Wheels are 3.5 wide up front and 4" out back.

Moriarity, are those replicas of Roth cars or are they the real deal?

  27. Hi JeffreyJames,I want go down a size or two on the front of my roadster. It currently is running 600x16 front and 650x16 rear. I wab nt to go 500x16 front and 750x16 rear black wall Firestone on '40 ford rims. Whats do you think is the the smallest tire I could go and still be legal with weight capacities for the tires etc? Havent seen any '35 - '36's here with anything under a 5.50 x 16. That coupe above looks gooood.

I think the reason you don't see cars with tires under 5.50's is that it might not look as proportional inside the front wheel well if you go down to 5.00's. In fact 6.00's look really really good up front when matched with 7.50's out back and 5.50 as well. I chose the 5.50's because I knew the car was going to be pretty low up front and since I was running 3.5" wide wheels.

I don't think there would be a problem with running 5.00's up front since guys with hemis and such in '32 fords run them but I still think they'll look a little out of place in terms of filling the wheel well. What I would do is go on COKER's site and check the over all tire diameter and see if 5.00-16's are close to 5.60-15's like on Moriarity's Coupe. Those looks great and if they aren't much smaller then 5.50's and 6.00's then go for it.

My recommendation is go for 5.50' or 6.00's up front and 7.50's out back
