    Cooolest thread I´ve seen on here for a while...Most helpful, too...Any´58 Impalas w/Chrome Reverses/Supremes with or without wide whitewalls out there...(?)If so, let´s see them...(?) BUMP to the top...

    What a great little modified! Excellent proportions. I like how the top of the gas tank seems to follow the curve of the tires... :D
     
  18. Well, thought I'd bring this back from the dead with an update... finally got the 285/70-15's (thank vrod64) mounted on the 15x10 steelies in back, but decided on 225/70-15's on 15x7 steelies in front...subtle change but I like it...:cool:

    Well I think that settles it. I will be going with a 205/75/15 on my 6" fronts and a 225/70/15 on my 7" rears.

    I think they are 165 15 vw tires. I did alot of research and when its laying frame the back tire is 1/8 inch from the fender wells.

    195/75/14s. Excuse the absence of wheelcovers in the first pic, I normally run '61 Galaxie covers, but am having problems with the driver's front flying off Bullitt Charger style.

    The second pic is funky, because the nose hadn't settled down yet.
