Here's mine. The dash, gaugebezels, steering wheel, gear stick, pedals and wind shield are home made.

The radio is a NOS GM intended for 1980 Chevy Citation. Cadillac knobs and pushbuttons modified to an older look.

The fabric is bycast leather. 1 USD pr sqft on Ebay. What I got was actually very good quality bycast. I know this isn't considered as "real" by many, but there are big differences between good and poor bycast leather as well.

The two small round "things" are speakers that works together with the larger speakers in the doors.

  2. ^^^^^^ Very cool and creative; nice fab work!

    My 32 truck

Light switch knob will be changed to a small chrome one,may put w/w switch on right of speedo or in dash when i replace w/w motor.

I've never seen the SW series like the speedo with the green face

Gas pedal will be changed also

You have the hardest twin blue to find and its the only one you have! The 160 speedo took me forever to find. There is a thread on SW twin blue gauges.

That was Terry Seaholms roadster(now owned by hotrd32). Its got early Stewart Warner 2 5/8 front mount gauges. The tach and speedo are the big 5" ones. You see those in some of the early bonneville photos...very state of the art for the era! Terry dealt in early gauges and his roadster was his calling card. From left to right: Temp(obscured by the steering wheel), an odd pressure gauge(rare! never seen one before or since), 150 speedo, 8K tach, 30lb vacuum and the ever elusive gas gauge. Theres a 2" amp gauge in the steering column to round out the set. An amazing set up for a guy that knew his stuff. John

Here is my 54 gmc dash still under construction. It started out as a 55 Buick dash ,narrowed, widened speedo area, and relocated chevy van column with 55 chevy 210 steering wheel to fit cab.[IMG]
