This is a build of a car between 2 friends in a small garage. My buddy Kevin bought a (barely) running Model A Coupe, after driving around the block a couple times he pulled the body off. The plan is a Traditional Model A with a 283 and 4 speed, a REAL Hot Rod ! all this takes place in my garage. We are both family guys with kids and full time jobs so time is sometimes hard to get, mostly 3-4 hours after work so progress has taken a while but it has been a blast I will catch you up, then update from there Thanks Joe The first set is when the new running gear meets the crusty body for the first time

Subscribed! A REAL hot rod indeed! You're building it the way they used to be built; by friends, in a home garage. It doesn't get any more traditional than that. Keep the pics and story coming!

A cool Hot Rod indeed! Great progress since I stopped by last time.
Oh yeah, that Kevin Bacon IS crazy... most people don't know he lives in Omaha, has a cool '32 5-window and is a HAMB member.

I'll be in S.C. on Saturday. You going to be around? I'll try to stop by if you are.

next was saving the top the previous owner had welded a patch on the top(very very poorly) so very carefully we removed it..it was lucky we went past the nailing flange with the top welding massacre. after paint we will install the vinyl top on!

Awsome project, I got another subscribe :)
Did a Chopped and Channeled model A 10 years ago, I,m 6.1 tall and made the mistake to chop it. When the car was done it was a pain to drive, at least for me.
Sold it to two brodhers who a little bit shorter then me :)

Your Model A is looking GREAT JRussell! Good for you guys, building a hot rod together. Your story and photos bring a big smile to my face. I can feel your excitment and enthusiasm. Perhaps we will see this fine little hot rod at Vintage Torque Fest 2012???? Keep up the great work and keep the dream alive. I look forward to future updates. You guys rock!

I literally completed my Model A coupe yesterday! (9/2/11) After 16 months of non stop work I drove it! Wow, what an amazing feeling!!
