I gotta admit I was not really digging it during the build phase. I looked at the threads from time to time, but just wasn't into it. But now, I'm a convert. It's cool looking. The stance is right on and the wheels/tires are perfect.

Man, have I loved this build!
Glad to see it on the road.
I don't post a whole lot but, I'm on here everyday, haha.
You really have inspired me to get back to work on my '27 mod this spring.

Eric, that think kicks-ass with the wires on the front. Fantactic job, man. I am tickled you tucked away the 24th scale stuff, and jumped on the full scale rides. You fit much better.
Hell yea, hook up with us to Dewry, it's gonna be a blast.
    CONGRATULATIONS MAN.

Sweet! I look forward to seeing some more Texas fellas up here in my part of the country.

btw Eric, that last picture is just awesome!
If you're ever in Tulsa (hint, hint) there is this alley downtown I would love to snap some photos of the The Modified in, it would look tough!

Nice Job ! I hope mine comes out half as cool as yours.

  13. Very, very cool ride - I like it both ways, with or without the hood and sides. With gives it a personality, almost like it's going to "talk" to you. Without, looks like she's all ready to lick butt and take no prisoners on the track!

Enjoy the miles of smiles ....

I missed this the first time around, even tho I'd been sort of following the build.

    Didya finally cure the wobble?

I tried the beads in my tires and it definitly helped the 60-65 shake, and right geometry cured my wobble issues (thanks Dick Spadaro).

Now you need to make it up here to the Jalopy Showdown next May. FLT-BLK did it, you can, too.
HOT laps on the Latimore Valley track is the most fun I've ever had with my roadster.

  15. Thats a great Hot Rod.
Dare I ask about the windshield??

  16. I really like its short chunky look. It gives it a real short dirt track feel. You know, tight corners and short straightaways.
You've built a very nice car with good engineering, some interesting styling and components. Please finish it with what ever color that trips your trigger and some interior creature comforts.
