    Yeah it was Duncans car, I was just saying since you brought up the Matranga and we had a real deal clone sitting here at the museum. Bill also chopped a 39 for Cowboy back when I worked at his shop.

    I've been working on the grill which was badly damaged, so using some parts I had with some of the cars original grill. It should come out nice when finished. Also dropped off all the side trim stainless to be straitened and polished. So there is stuff being done! Should have some progress pics soon!

    Good news from your end, Kev..always lookin down here for good 39/40 Merc parts...havent had any luck findin a good grill yet..
    yeah,i found a 40 sedan with an exellent grill but they did not wanted to part out the grill alone...i keep pushin as usual and get anything available!!!

    The last few days we got the rear crossmember all welded up and made new trunk floor pans.

    Yeah Reno they were rusty and patched up. There was so much Tar covering them that you couldn't tell.

    Been doing more metal finishing and detail work to the top. Sorry for the slow progress guy's, this is more of a long term project, but we will be getting a lot more work done soon!
