  1. 1989 Cadillac color... can't remember the code but it was "Stunning" day or night...!

Lots of "Mica" giving it a "Pearle" hue of Black and Blues and contrasted beautifully with the Lighter blue chassis!

Hands down my favorite is an old Mazda color called Montego Blue Mica. Sometimes looks green when photographed, or in direct light. Hard to describe, but it's really something. It was a stock color on the RX-7 and on a few Miatas. Still might end up painting the Edsel this color.

A longtime favorite of mine and very dark blue is Ferrari Blu Scuro. Color Code is 510 - from 1967.

  4. Here is my favorite blue. Almost a direct knock off for the original blue on my 48 ford. It is 1974 Volvo Royal Blue. I also used it on one of my 55 Nomads. It looks blue under a sunny sky and black when it is cloudy. Pat.

I don't like paints that change colors - I've lost way too many cars that way in parking lots.

Just a question on "Washington Blue". Did it vary quite a bit over the years it was used on Ford production lines?

rodncustom, Your Dad does NICE work!
