  7. Those 33 and 34 roadsters are about perfect in my eye. Very nice. I've noticed your photoshop skills have been improving too whodaky.

    Hey FB.
Yeah those roadsters are nice. All I did was chop them and reshape the side window opening. I like the red one best though.
Yes I have been developing a fair few new techniques by doing all these covers. I have done over 170. But I am enjoying working on them and challenging myself!
Thanks for keeping on watching FB.

Hey Tom, I knew you would like the roadsters.
I was talking to Tony yesterday and it would seem Frank is inspired also.

I was looking through a dvd of HAMB images I had been sent years ago by Denise. Which included a shot of the house in this image.
I liked the image but needed to remove some cars from it and make the house image useable after the cars were removed. I then added the '32 roadster I had on file. I tried to use it on a cover, but it just wasn't working in my eye. So I just present it here as a stand alone image!

Hey thanks for the cover with my cars on it and the nice comments Geoff. You are correct about the early hot rod mags having simple covers. Nowadays the "graphic artists" have different ideas to what the hot rodders like and in most cases you don't even get a full shot of the featured car.

No worries Peter. I am glad you like what I am doing.
Here's another one I just did, that I am very pleased with. It's very simple, but to me it has a great feel about it!

    'Hi Chad.
That cover probably isn't one of my best efforts, but I do love that roadster. I think Tom is working towards a similar look for the roadster he is doing.
Chad to you, Charlie and all the family have a great new year.

Yes I do prefer the early black and whites you have done here, Mikes car has a great story behind it, one of my favourite roadsters. All the best to you and your family as well for the new year. Hope to see some updates with everyone's coupes :) in 2017.

Yeah Fred Steele's roadster is a great hot rod. I did restyle the roof a little though.
    Here's a new cover.

Not much talk in here this last few days.
The viewers must be getting bored with my underwhelming contributions.
But still I persist with new covers.
Now it's off to continue with the bathroom renovations I started yesterday.

  23. ^ love that 5 window. One of my favorite cars ever. Happy new year to you and yours and everyone who follows this thread. I was supposed to be fixing the roof of my shed today but it's raining so I guess I'll have to find another job to do.

Thanks for the replies guys and a happy New Year. Forgot all about that until you guys mentioned it.
Charlie looks like you have driven into a very strong headwind. Nice shot, I think I can see another cover happening.
As it so happens I am having a coffee break after ripping all the old plaster out of the bathroom. What a lovely job that is in an old house.

I got to be going for now. I need to jump in the pickup and go and get some timber.

I found this image earlier today and new it would look great on a cover.
I wanted to do it on an Australian cover. I decided to use Custom Rodder, but I didn't want to use it's traditional layout. I am really pleased with the results.

Moving right along, I found this old channeled 3W on the net, took a few inches out of the top and placed in this old service station.
Real world back in the day hot rodding.
