Just to show I am not totally biased towards '32s, here's a cover featuring a T roadster.

  6. That's a good looking t but to my eye the '32 grille is too big for the t body. It can be pulled off but all the ones I've seen that looked right have been chopped up so much that they don't look like a '32 grille anymore.

I hear what your saying FB. Proportionally a stock height '32 grille shell on a T doesn't work in my eyes either.
Here is a new cover I have just completed. Thought I would do an Aussie one, as I haven't done one in a while.

Came across this great looking channeled '34 coupe and knew it needed to be parked out the front of Rita and Tony's old house.

Thankyou for the replies. Yeah all is OK here.
Gary, Tom isn't down here any more. The job didn't work out, through no fault of his own; I might add.
I am glad that people are enjoying the covers.

It must be a '32 day today. Which isn't so bad.

Here we go, one without a '32 on it. I really like the image I used on this cover.

Yeah Gary, that is a great looking 5W. I have to admit that I did chop it. Lower the front and move the wheels around a bit.

    Thanks for the images Simon.
Here's cover I just completed. It definitely has the right vibe for the year 1958.

It's amazing what you find in old second hand shops. I was looking for old hot rod magazines and came across a pile of Motor Life magazines .I decide to go through the pile just in case. Well I nearly fell over when I found this issue of Motor Life. There's something familiar about it. Maybe it's the '34 3W. I'm just not sure. Anyhow I hope you guys enjoy this one..

Here's a new cover that pictorially depicts some early history of my 5W.

Whodacky the covers on this page are amongst some of your best work in my opinion! Love the wild flamed 32 5 window, and the channeled fendered roadster with the flippers,,,wow,,, do you have a side shot of this beauty? Also is that a 32 3 window roadster/coupester?

Thankyou Tom. Yeah I guess I am getting better all the time with these covers. Constantly honing my skills with my program and manipulating it in ways it isn't designed for. This program is circa the 90's, therefore some of the stuff I do could probably be considered very amateurish. But I am relatively happy with what I am producing.
Yes that is a '32 3W with the roof cut off, in the driveway of the Downey and Son's servo. You should recognize the coupe that is behind it.
The flamed 5W on the Hot Rod cover is in fact a relatively famous hot rod, having been voted as one the 75 most influential 1932 hot rods of all time. It was featured on the cover of the June 1957 issue of Car craft magazine. It was owned by George Sein.
However we at 'The Magazine Of The Mind' publishing company took it upon ourselves to allow the Spencer T and his brother Jude at The South West Speed Shop, to lower it and chop the top for our cover feature.
