  1. Good to see you back Geoff. We're getting stuck back into our renovating here as well.

  2. Back in a big way Geoff - the Californian Kid to start with sets the tone, as usual love your work. I myself have been a little quiet in regards to hotrods - busy getting my new shed built. Can't wait for the extra room and to have a hoist...

Great to see you back Whodacky!! Also happy for you and Margret to have the biggest part of your Reno completed! Tony asked me to post a few pics of his big garage move over the weekend. As you know Tony is moving into a new house and last weekend I helped out Tony together with Frank Ging, BarryB from the bush, the master Leon and Sam and Spence. Here are a few pics of the big move

  10. The roadster looks the goods Tom. Big week for me this week. Along with painting the lounge room, I've finally moved the kombi out of my shed Woo Hoo!! I'm about to go down to the workshop and finish securing the poptop. When that's on it can't physically fit back in my shed (too tall). It'll be going for trim next week, then have the windows installed, then to the cabinet maker. So it'll be out of my hair for a while (I'll still need to so a bit of mechanical work when all of that's done). Now that I have the shed space back the plan is that me and my uncle will go up and stay at Mum and Dad's place in echuca, bendigo swap weekend like we did last year but this time we'll take a car trailer and bring the falcon home. So hopefully I'll see all of you blokes who are going there.

I put this 3W into this image, with the view to using it on a cover. I tried a few different cover layouts, but I wasn't happy with any of them. So rather than not show the image, I will just present it as a stand alone image. I really like the feel of it.

It seems there was a major crash here on the HAMB and information was lost.
So I am reposting the following 4 covers.

In a post that I did on Friday ( that has now been lost because of 'the crash' ), I mentioned that Peter ( Stork ) Vansittat dropped by on Wednesday in the sport coupe. So I decided to do a cover, the top shot is not long after he got it on the road some 40 years ago. Although I did lower and chop it a bit more.

I have been going to do a new cover with a bike on it for a while. So here's a shot of Peter Vansittart at Lake Gairdner on his very fast Triumph, but I just had to add the sport coupe.

They say you shouldn't mess with perfection. I have probably done it with both the cover I have based this new cover on and the hot rod I used on it.
