Nice work looking good. I see you got your bumpers chromed not too long ago. I just got a quote of 400 per bumper after taxes for mine. Does that sound about right?

The EPA is killing the car world, one regulation at a time.

Good to see I'm not the only one.

Don't you understand though? They are protecting you from yourself. It's really in your best interest. Trust us. we are the government...

I just chopped my vent windows for my chevy and it looks like I'm just gonna paint them black for now. Chrome plating is out of the question on my budget.

    Thanks for all the responses.

The dash will be as original as I can get it.

Update: mctim64 is working magic on a sweet 5 liter, 302. I'll detail what he's putting together when it's all finished. It's everything I imagined it would be.

This week I'm cleaning up the interior. To piss some of you off, I converted by clutch pedal assembly to an automatic, single pedal assembly. Got an AOD housing that will be mounted up to a dummy block at Boling Brother's to massage out the firewall, and get the right X-member in place.

Cleaning out the floors and laying down a little POR-15 where needed (highway robbery, if you ask me. Almost $40 for a pint at the cheapest local shop. I'm going with Eastwood's brand next time.). The steering wheel and column were modified and painted, and are ready for wiring.

Next up is the Quiet Ride kit, wiring, and then we should be good to go for the engine and trans.

I really like what you are doing! I'm tired of all the "gasser" style conversions, nice to see a Falcon done with imagination!!!!If you go to the AOD you will need to notch the floor brace in order to get the engine/trans angle right[been there, done that],or you WILL have driveline vibrations!!That color really looks killer on the Falcon!!! ROY.
