  1. Not F1. It's an Indy car with a Turbo Offy.

Thanx. I'm still learnin' somethin' new every day. And now that I understand it a bit more I agree that this is ingenious.

    Hey Mikey,
Here are some photos I took back in June of 2017 on one of my visits to the Price Transfer Automobilia Museum. They were setting up the new Lions Dragstrip wing and allowed me to wander around taking photos and "oogling" the very cool stuff in the whole complex.

One of my favorite places in the Price Transfer Automobilia Museum complex is the hot rod garage. (Located on the way to the Lions Dragstrip wing.) This place had tons of parts for all types of hot rod motors. The 471 with Hilborn Injection was just itching to get placed on one of a hundred cars in this museum. But, to make matters more envious, there were two other motors that were the popular versions of each during the late 50s and early 60s.

I could move that hot rod garage display right into our old Long Beach backyard garage and feel right at home playing with those toys. That was one complete garage set up that would make anyone, "dream a little dream."

I was going to ask if I passed the test and see they aren't bolted on. :(
But with any luck they will this weekend and be ready to order push rods Monday. :)

    Purely an observation.
The greyscale photo makes this look like earlier times, I (think) the "V" series cases with that angled bolting arrangement is a more modern design. The first one I saw was in the mid 70's, not that that has any bearing on this thread.
Also, I can't say for sure but those headers appear to be ceramic coated.

Looks like this guy skipped shop class when the Champion Spark Plug guy showed us how he could make a Brigs engine run with two separate plug wire by having them just touching each other.

Yes Denny I agree that the photo looks old but there are lots of things that tell me it's newer the blower drive snout is newer I can tell by the shape though I can say whoever built it done a great job of fabrication the v belt drive is real nice looking and the 6 carb manifold was adapted very well I've never seen one made for a v series blower not saying that there wasn't any ever made cause I've seen some real odd stuff made in the past and the v series Detroit came into production around 1957 and was discontinued in 1995 it's definitely a neat setup that's for sure
