That carb adapter is interesting, it must have four (or eight individual) openings for the throttle bores and a solid aluminum center. Look at the fuel line from the carburetor in the left front of the photo, it goes into the adapter. Seems like the long line might go to the center of the carb adapter and the adapter is rifle drilled to feed the carbs. A nice, clean, elegant solution eliminating one part.

I just mocked up these parts for my latest project, I'm digging it !

Thanks man, almost going to be a shame to cover it up with hood. Took me a bit of back and forth haggling to get these valve covers last week but well worth it. I spent yesterday polishing them.

 

I got wood!!!!!
