Flattie feeling the pressure...
When we were building our 292 SBC up from the 283, we wanted to keep most everything Edlebrock. Our friend in Los Angeles had close ties to Vic Edlebrock, helped us get one of the first Isky-Gilmer 671 drives for the SBC motors and that came with an Edlebrock 671 SBC manifold. So, since we could not use the original Edlebrock 6 carb manifold from the 283, we looked everywhere to see if there was one available that would fit on top of the 671.
It was disappointing, as there were no flat Edlebrock manifolds for adapting Strombergs to the top of any 671 supercharger. At Reath Automotive, one of the guys mentioned he could get his hands on a flat 6 carb manifold for us. But, that it would be a Weiand brand. Since we were in our final assembly stage, that flat manifold would work.

Feel the pressure...
Same car/engine,,,,,only 25 miles from me!
Nothing quite as exotic or as exciting as the other pics.Left in its grungy, flaking paint form,Pontiac Super Duty intake. At some point may get blasted ever so gently with walnut shell media
to clean it up a bit.
Wow what a shame it got to that condition.
